Anya started acting in community theater as a child age, and continued to pursue the arts all through her teenage years. Anya-Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy is an actor. Taylor-Joy left college to pursue her acting career when she was just 16. Anya Taylor Joy, born on April 16, 1996, in Miami Florida. A half English and half Spanish she is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor a former banker, and Jennifer Marina Joy a psychologist. His father was an Argentine who is of Scottish and English descent. Her mother comes from Spanish and English roots. The Taylor-Joy family was a family that included six children. Four of her siblings are of the marriage that she had with Taylor's dad. Buenos Aires was her home until she turned 6, and the family moved to Victoria in London. Taylor Joy admitted that the transition from Buenos Aires to Victoria was tough and she did not take the time to learn English and was hoping to go home to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school after she switched from Northlands. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School and studied ballet and performed in school's productions. At the age of 16, she quit school she pursued an acting career. Taylor-Joy was an actress as a kid who was certain she would be one. The realization of her dreams came after Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modeling job.
