Dick Cheney, who served in the United States as Secretary and Chief of Staff in the administration of a president, and also during Congress is a tremendous service to the nation. Cheney is an honest man who is respected by Republicans as well as Democrats. Cheney said he views his role as an honest but discrete adviser in Bush's administration. Cheney expressed his excitement at accepting the Republican vice-presidential nod. He stated that Cheney is eager to work with a leader who can collaborate with those who have different political views and with common goal. Richard Bruce Cheney (born January 30th, 1941) was the son Richard Herbert Cheney. His mother, Marjorie Lauraine Dickey had been engaged with Richard Herbert Cheney for over 30 years. When he was 13 years old Richard and his family relocated from Nebraska to Casper where his dad was the head of Casper's U.S. Department of Agriculture local soil conservancy district.
